With many of us, life gets in the way and Ashley has been through a lot. Coping with grief and loss doesn’t make it any easier – it is another challenge like no other. All in all, Ashley chose to make time for her internal health. She was able to find that balance and that is amazing. I am so proud that Ashley has been able to make time for herself and focus on living a much healthier lifestyle. Keep reaching for the stars babe!!!
Take a look at what got Ashley F. started and how the challenge has helped her:
BEFORE:
“I am excited to join! I am participating in this challenge because it is time for me to regain control of my life and that starts with my health. The beginning of 2019 has been a challenging one. Both my grandfather and my mother fell ill at the beginning of this year and during this time I temporarily moved back to NC from CA to help care for them. Sadly, they both passed on within a month and a half of each other. It is understandable that I completely forgot about myself and allowed my health and fitness to go by the wayside. Although I am still grieving, I know that it is time for me to get back in this game called life and live it as both of them would want me to. I am at my heaviest and have become extremely uncomfortable in my own skin. My goal is less about the number on the scale, but about body fat percentage. I want to drop 7-8% body fat and I am currently sitting at 28% and 125 pounds. I know that improving my life is not just about fitness, but nutrition is a huge factor as well. I want to change my lifestyle and I am starting with your program!!! I have also encouraged my little sister to participate. She has a different challenge ahead of her and although we are almost 2800 miles away from one another, we thought that we would use your program to help keep us both accountable! Thank you for helping people of all shapes and sizes and not judging any of us! I am looking forward to the next 21 days!”
AFTER:
“I have been struggling with toning my body since starting my fitness journey this year. I find it hard to make time for the gym 4 times a week and I hate meal prepping. I decided that participating in a challenge would be the best way to jump start this journey and the beginning of a routine. I decided that I would stick to just maintaining instead of weight loss despite the fact that I’ve gained a significant amount of weight since January. Due to this, I only did HITT on the designated days. Upon submitting my after photos, I was disappointed as I did not think much progress had been made and the number on the scale even moved up. After seeing my after photos I was more relieved as I can see that my body has changed. I did not do as well as I wanted due to lots of travel and limitations with food options in some cities, but overall the program was vey helpful. It helped me realize that a gym is not needed to see results, but also motivated me to make time for the gym when possible. I did not completely follow the meal plan due to how picky I am but used it as a blueprint for my meals. Thank you for putting this program together. I plan to restart it on Monday and see what changes I can see in 21 more days.”
